About Elcab
A wire maker built on field experience, with a team that thinks beyond one market.
How Elcab started
Elcab began on job sites. The people behind it spent their working lives around electrical installations and saw the same problems come back on one project after another: wire that kinked in conduit, coils that ran short, sizes that did not match the label.
The question was simple. Why not make the wire the way the job needs it? That question became Elcab Wires Industry, set up in Kunnam, Perambalur, with a clear aim: consistent copper, sound PVC insulation and honest coils, delivered to dealers, electricians and contractors who cannot afford surprises on site.
Today we manufacture flexible PVC wires, single core solid wires and flat cables, and we supply power cables and control cables to order while we prepare to make them ourselves.
Our journey
From the field
We learned what electricians and contractors really need by working alongside them: wire that pulls easily, strips clean and holds up for years.
To the factory
We set up our plant in Kunnam, Perambalur, and started with the three products that go into almost every building: flexible wires, solid wires and flat cables.
Towards a wider range
Customers asked for power and control cables too. We now supply them to order from established manufacturers, and our own manufacturing is the next step.
